Return Policy

At eWaterTank, we understand that purchasing water tanks and accessories is a significant investment — and we want you to feel confident in your order. However, due to the size, weight, and custom nature of many of our products, returns can be complex and costly.

Large tank returns involve extensive logistics, and some accessories are custom-fit or made-to-order, which limits resell potential. While we strive to be as flexible as possible, our return policies reflect both the realities of shipping large items and the return conditions imposed by our manufacturing partners.

That said, rest assured — we’ll do everything we can to offer you practical and fair options should you need to return a water tank or accessory.


Return Window

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • This applies to both water tanks and accessories, unless specifically stated otherwise on the product page.

Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping.
  • Original shipping fees (including freight and handling) are non-refundable.

Restocking Fees

  • All returns are subject to a 10% to 25% restocking fee, depending on the item.
  • Accessory restocking fees are typically on the lower end (10–15%), while tanks may incur higher fees due to handling costs.
  • This fee is determined by the manufacturer, not eWaterTank directly.

Return Requirements

To qualify for a refund, the returned item(s) must:

  • Be in “Like New” condition — free from wear, damage, or signs of use.
  • Include all original packaging, parts, hardware, and manuals.
  • Be shipped to the authorized return address provided by our team.
  • Include a valid Return Authorization Number (RMA) issued by us.

Important: If any returned item does not meet these conditions, it will be returned to the customer at their expense, and any refund or exchange agreement may be voided.


Exceptions

  • Certain accessories (e.g., custom fittings, valves, made-to-order parts) may be non-returnable.
  • Any exceptions will be clearly noted on the product page before purchase.
  • If the manufacturer's return policy conflicts with ours, the manufacturer’s policy will take precedence.
  • PolyJohn products are eligible for return within 15 days.

Returns Process

1. Submit a Return Request

Complete the Return Request Form within 30 days of receipt. You’ll be asked to include order details and reason for return.

2. Upload Photo/Video (if applicable)

If the item is damaged, defective, or incomplete, upload a clear photo or video to help us evaluate and expedite your return.

3. Wait for Return Instructions
 Our customer support team will respond within 2 business days with:

  • A Return Authorization Number (RMA)
  • The correct return shipping address
  • Any packing or handling instructions

4. Ship Your Item

Carefully repackage the item and ship it using the instructions provided. Include your RMA number inside the box or clearly marked on the label. Share the return tracking number with us to avoid processing delays.

5. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the date of delivery. Refunds are issued to the original method of payment.
